Artist Kyu Kyu is one of Myanmar's contemporary female artists who has consistently created modern artworks. She created modern cubism works by combining Her emotions and thoughts, colors, lines and themes into small cubes. Each of her cubes, based on beautiful subjects such as houses, village and people is a unique and interesting work of her own.
She also created modern sculptures of various sizes and participated in the modern art movement as a performance artist in the early period. Kyu Kyu was born in Dawei in 1965.
She studied in Japan for 3 years and worked as a makeup artist and hair stylist before she started painting. She has been interested in art since she was young and has strong creativity. She started creating collage art and installation art with the materials around her. She started learning basic art from artist U Ye Myint, and continued to learn watercolor and acrylic painting techniques from U Thein Myint Thein and Ko Kyaw Win.
In the early days, she painted landscape, portrait and still life paintings. After that, she found a modern art style that was truly authentic to her, one that she truly enjoyed from her perspective.
Kyu Kyu expresses her emotions and thoughts in colors by combining lines and objects. Each of her paintings portrays a story. She also creates small modern sculptures of various sizes.
Since 2005, she has participated in more than 40 group art exhibitions at local and abroad. Participated as a performance artist in the 2008 “NIPAF Asia Performance Art Exhibition” held in Japan.
In 2012, her painting called "Golden mirage" was selected as the cover art of "Bones Will Grow", a contemporary Myanmar poetry book. Along with the New Zero art space crew, she participated in performance and modern art activities at the Innlya art gallery of artist U Aung Myint. “I have immersed all my thoughts in the cubes. The themes of each painting are things I see and experience in my daily life, and I got the idea to create moving cubes,” she said.
In this exhibition, you will see and experience a unique scene with the combination of Kyu Kyu’s modern cubism paintings hanging in the background and small sculptures placed in front of her installation.
ပန်းချီဆရာမကြူကြူဟာ မော်ဒန်အနုပညာလက်ရာတွေကို တစိုက်မတ်မတ်ဖန်တီးခဲ့သူ မြန်မာ အမျိုးသမီးခေတ်ပြိုင်အနုပညာရှင်တွေထဲက တစ်ဦးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ သူမရဲ့ စိတ်ခံစားမှုနဲ့အတွေးတွေကို အရောင်တွေ၊ ကုဗတုံးလေးတွေ၊ မျဥ်းတွေနဲ့ အကြောင်းအရာတွေအဖြစ်ပေါင်းစပ်ကာ မော်ဒန်cubism လက်ရာတွေကို ဖန်တီးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အိမ်ကလေးတွေ၊ ရွာကလေးတွေ၊ လူတွေနဲ့စုံလင်လှတဲ့ အကြောင်းအရာတွေကိုအခြေခံထားတဲ့ သူမရဲ့ကုဗတုံးတွေတစ်ကွက်ချင်းစီတိုင်းဟာ ထူးခြားပြီး စိတ်ဝင် စားစရာကောင်းလှတဲ့ သူမရဲ့ ကိုယ်ပိုင်လက်ရာတစ်ခုပါ။
အရွယ်အစားအမျိုးမျိုးရှိတဲ့ မော်ဒန်ပန်းပုရုပ် တွေကိုလည်း ထုလုပ်ခဲ့ပြီး အစောပိုင်းကာလတွေမှာ ပါဖောင်းမန့်အနုပညာရှင်တစ်ယောက်အဖြစ်လဲ မော်ဒန်အနုပညာလှုပ်ရှားမှုတွေမှာ ပါဝင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
ကြူကြူ့ကို ၁၉၆၅ခုနှစ်က ထားဝယ်မြို့မှာ မွေးဖွားခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံမှာ ၃နှစ်လောက် ကျောင်းတက် ခဲ့ပြီး ပန်းချီလောကထဲမဝင်ခင် ပန်းချီမဆွဲဖြစ်ခင်ကာလတွေတုန်းက မိတ်ကပ်နဲ့ဆံပင်ပညာရှင် တစ်ယောက်အဖြစ် အလုပ်လုပ်ကိုင်ခဲ့သူပါ။
ငယ်စဥ်ကတည်းက အနုပညာကိုစိတ်ဝင်စားပြီး တီထွင်ဖန်တီးမှုအားကောင်းတဲ့သူမဟာ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်မှာရှိတဲ့ ပစ္စည်းတွေနဲ့ collage art နဲ့ installation art တွေကို စတင်ဖန်တီးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ပန်းချီဆရာဦးရဲမြင့်ဆီမှာ အခြေခံပန်းချီပညာကို စတင်လေ့လာဖြစ် ခဲ့ပြီး ဦးသိန်းမြင့်သိန်းနဲ့ ကိုကျော်ဝင်းတို့ဆီမှာ ရေဆေးနဲ့အခရိုင်းလစ် ပန်းချီရေးနည်းတွေကို ဆက်လက် သင်ယူဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
အစောပိုင်းကာလတွေမှာ ရှုခင်းနဲ့ပုံတူပန်းချီကားတွေ၊ သက်ငြိမ်ပန်းချီကားတွေကို ရေးဆွဲခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အဲဒီ့နောက်မှာတော့ သူမစိတ်အာရုံထဲက အမှန်တကယ်နှစ်ခြိုက်သဘောကျတဲ့ သူမအတွက်တကယ်ကိုစစ်မှန်တဲ့ အနုပညာဖန်တီးမှုစတိုင်တစ်ခုကို ရှာတွေ့သွားခဲ့ပါတယ်။
ကြူကြူဟာ သူမရဲ့စိတ်ခံစားမှုတွေနဲ့အတွေးတွေကို အရောင်တွေ၊ ကုဗတုံးလေးတွေ၊ မျဥ်းတွေနဲ့ အကြောင်းအရာတွေ ကိုပေါင်းစပ်ကာ မော်ဒန်cubismလက်ရာတွေကို ဖန်တီးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ကုဗတုံးလေးတွေကို အခြေခံပြီး အကြောင်းအရာအစုံအလင်ကို ပေါင်းစပ်ဖန်တီးတတ်တဲ့ သူမရဲ့ပန်းချီကားတစ်ချပ်ချင်းစီတိုင်းက ဇာတ်လမ်းတစ်ခုကိုဖော်ကျူးထားတာပါ။ အရွယ်အစားအမျိုးမျိုးရှိတဲ့ မော်ဒန်ပန်းပုရုပ်ထုလေး တွေကိုလည်း သူမကိုယ်တိုင်ထုလုပ်ဖန်တီးပါသေးတယ်။
၂၀၀၅ခုနစ်ကစတင်ပြီး ပြည်တွင်းပြည်ပ အဖွဲ့လိုက်ပန်းချီပြပွဲ ၄၀ကျော်မှာ ပါဝင်ပြသခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံမှာပြုလုပ်တဲ့ ၂၀၀၈ခုနှစ် NIPAF Asia Performance Art ပြပွဲမှာ ပါဖောင်းမန့်အနုပညာရှင် တစ်ယောက် အနေနဲ့ပါဝင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
၂၀၁၂ခုနစ်မှာတော့ သူမရဲ့ “Golden mirage” အမည်ရတဲ့ ပန်းချီကားဟာ မြန်မာခေတ်ပြိုင်ကဗျာစာအုပ်ဖြစ်တဲ့ "Bones Will Grow" စာအုပ်ရဲ့ မျက်နှာဖုံးပန်းချီ အဖြစ် ရွေးချယ်ခံခဲ့ရပါတယ်။
New Zero art space အဖွဲ့သားတွေနဲ့အတူ ပန်းချီဆရာဦးအောင်မြင့်ရဲ့ အင်းလျားပန်းချီပြခန်းမှာ ပါဖောင်းမန့် နဲ့ မော်ဒန်အနုပညာလှုပ်ရှားမှုတွေ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
